Verdict
Pour this as a fair introduction to papalometl – Farolito's production is clean and the agave signature carries, though the proof is a shade under what the agave would ideally ask for. A credible mid-premium bottle that clears the bar without vaulting it. Against Real Minero's papalometl it loses on density; at this money it's still a legitimate pick – consensus 3.9 is fair.

Tasting notes
Nose: Wildflower, then warm earth, dry herb, a faint mineral note and trace of dried lavender
Palate: Aromatic at 45.26% – papalometl's character is distinct from the more common papalote, though adjacent; slightly more floral, slightly less slate-tinged, with a specific aromatic register worth learning alongside the better-known Guerrero papalote
Finish: Cooling, floral, with a slow herb fade – very long
The bottom line
Worth the category slot for drinkers building agave vocabulary
