Verdict

Seco is the third chapter in the Oponguio Ineaquidens conceptual flight and easily the most austere. It's not the pleasure pick; it's the dissection pick. Drink it after Frutal and Herbal and you'll understand ineaquidens from three angles at once. Drink it cold and alone and it can feel a little thin. Buy with the others for the education; skip if you want just one.

The skeleton version of the same agave – only for drinkers who want to see bone

Tasting notes

Nose: Dry hay, flint, cracked pepper, faint cacao

Palate: 46-47% – Seco is the sparsest of the three Ineaquidens readings; the fruit and the herb both pull back, leaving a spare, dry, mineral core

Finish: Dry, chalky. Long

The bottom line

Buy with Frutal and Herbal, not as a standalone
