Verdict
Tavi's lechuguilla is the least convincing expression in the Sotoleros lechuguilla lineup, which is less a criticism of the bottle than a recognition of the company it keeps. At ~49% the proof lands to the species, but the aromatic compression that makes Lupe's and Romel's bottles reference-grade doesn't land here. Pass if you already own one of the better ones.
Not the Sotoleros lechuguilla that earns the shelf – the one that accompanies it
Tasting notes
Nose: Dry herb, mineral, light smoke, a faint savor
Palate: ~49% carries a workable lechuguilla profile, but the architecture reads thinner than the Lupe López or Romel versions – the herbal sharpness is there, the wet slate weight less so
Finish: Herbal, clean – medium
The bottom line
Not this bottle. The Lupe or Romel lechuguillas are the buys
