Verdict
Yoowe Bacanora is one of the more honest Sonoran bottles on the American shelf, the brand doesn't try to sand pacifica into something it isn't. The agave is pointed and dry, the proof lands for the weight, and the place shows up in the glass. Track it over the widely-distributed Sonoran commodity bottles.
Bacanora tastes like the desert it's from, and Yoowe lets it
Tasting notes
Nose: Dry earth, citrus zest, mesquite smoke, white pepper, dusty herbs
Palate: Lean and arid at 43%, the pacifica reading drier than Oaxacan counterparts, desert water, saline mineral, spice at the margins. Distinct and unapologetic
Finish: Medium-long, peppery, slate-tinged
The bottom line
The Sonoran you should actually buy
