Bicuishe (Agave karwinskii – also written bicuixe by some producers) is the karwinskii-family member that producers most often use as the lifted, aromatic component in wild-agave ensambles. Solo bicuishe bottlings are rarer than solo madrecuishe; bicuishe is more often the second or third agave in a three-plant blend. The aromatic signature is bright, herbal, and slightly floral – closer to madrecuishe than to barril, with a finish that reads cooler and more mineral.
